Ed will ensure that playing at Lost City is a pleasurable experience by getting golfers on the course in a timely manner, and maintaining a smooth transition to the back nine after “making the turn”. Ed’s responsibilities also include managing the outside golf support staff and resolving any issues related to the course’s pace of play. Ed will report to our Director of Golf, Mason Colling.
Ed’s background includes 25 years’ experience as a PGA professional: five years as a PGA Assistant Professional and 20 years as a Head Golf Professional. He coordinated a 27-hole facility for 17 of those years and specialized in member relations and customer service. Prior to beginning his career in club management, Ed pursued his dream of playing on the PGA tour.
Ed has been married for 30 years to his bride, Melanie. Born in Connecticut, he moved to South Florida with his family at age 9. Ed received a BBA and MBA at the University of Miami and played on the golf team, with among others, Woody Austin and Nathaniel Crosby.
